Summary Black Beauty 1912
Discovering a fire in his stable, Black Beauty breaks loose and awakens the family. He then races to the fire bell and rings it until the firemen are summoned. He further endears himself to his master by winning the County Stake in a race which makes the blood tingle. Things go against his owner later on and he is forced to sell the animal to a tradesman. Beauty's new lot is a hard one, but he struggles faithfully to earn his oats until his old owner is able to buy him back and allow him to end his days on the quiet farm.
